Massachusetts Family Resource Centers talk about their strategies to meet families’ needs during COVID 19 in a new video

In March 2020, as Massachusetts businesses and schools closed their doors, the state’s network of Family Resource Centers (FRC) stayed open and shifted their focus to meet the acute, immediate needs of the families: food, personal protective equipment, diapers, parenting support, distance learning help, constructive activities for kids, and emotional support.

The 27 FRCs are supported by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services and the Department of Children and Families. Located in communities across the state’s 14 counties, the centers are family-focused, culturally sensitive organizations dedicated to providing programs and services to strengthen families and communities.

Commonwealth Medicine is proud to support the FRC network through program management, data collection and reporting, and facilitation of the FRC network communication.
