UMass Medical School experts to present at AcademyHealth research meeting

UMass Medical School experts will present their research on a variety of health policy topics at the Academy Health Annual Research Meeting June 14-16 in Minneapolis.

Poster presentations by experts at UMass Medical School’s Commonwealth Medicine division will include research concerning health information and technology, and health insurance coverage and access issues under the Affordable Care Act.

A presentation about insurance coverage for health care services and supports for people with disabilities who work, Quantifying Wraparound Health Insurance Needs among Employed People with Disabilities, will be given to the Disability Research Interest Group, Saturday, June 13. Jack Gettens, PhD, and Alexis Henry, ScD, OTR/L, both of Commonwealth Medicine’s Center for Health Policy and Research, and Denise Hoffman of Mathematica Policy Research will make the presentation.
